Meet Brand Champion Italia Nigro

Steve Dobbins

We first met Brand Champion Italia Nigro at IDEA World Convention in Los Angeles and immediately knew we wanted her on our team. A shining light of positivity and love, Italia is the proud mom of a 17-year-old high school football star and wife to a successful fitness entrepreneur.  She’s a shining example of Love in Action and we’re so happy to have her representing evolve.

Name: Italia Nigro

Home: Santa Monica, California

Profession: Executive assistant and fitness nut

Where are you most likely to be seen wearing evolve? The gym! Hitting the weights and breaking a sweat. evolve’s legging and tops hug in all the right places so I don't have to worry about pulling and tugging. Plus, they're so stylish I can wear them out too!

How do you define “Love in Action: I live by the motto: Your actions express your priorities. Love is and has always been a priority of mine. Express love in actions by being kind to others, helping friends in need, supporting my child and husband, motivating my family in their pursuit of health and fitness.

What’s your #DreamForTheWorld? My #DreamForTheWorld would be to end domestic violence — both physical and verbal. One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. As a survivor myself, this cause is very close to my heart. There are many great resources for victims; however, we need to do more. We need to provide more education, more awareness and more support. You can start by learning the warning signs. If you're a victim, please know. You are not alone.

What social causes are most important to you and why?: In addition to raising awareness to domestic violence, I’m passionate about raising awareness about health and fitness in the Latino community.
