Downward Dog in Sedona

Steve Dobbins

revolucion made its Arizona debut Thursday at the Sedona Yoga Festival, a four-day conference that is expected to attract more than 1,200 yogis from around the world. With more than 200 sessions, from quiet meditation to hard-core vinyasa and everything in between, the event attracts many of the world’s top instructors and most passionate yogis.

As part of the Vendor Village, revolucion is thrilled to be introducing a new community of yogis to its brand of men’s and women’s fitness apparel. Top sellers from the two days included the VaVa Mesh Leggings, the Roche High-Performance Tank and the Dawn Long Capris.

    revolucion and oldest yoga instructor

revolucion founder Jason Leon’s biggest thrill came when he met Tao Porchon-Lynch, who at 98 is the world’s oldest yoga teacher. “She’s such an inspiration,” Jason said. “Her manta is ‘anything is possible,’ which aligns perfectly with revolucion.”

When not manning the booth, the revolucion team has been making the most of their time in Sedona. Thursday night they went on a five-mile sunset hike (wearing revolucion, of course) and took time out to do a few of their favorite poses with Sedona’s Red Rock Pass in the background.

“We’ve thrilled to be a part of the Sedona Yoga Festival,” Jason said. “It’s such a great community of yogis. We’ve loved meeting people from around the country, hearing their stories and sharing the mission of revolucion.”
